I’ve been feeling super disconnected to Instagram lately. What once felt like a digital playground now feels like being stuck in a noisy café where everyone is shouting their order and all I want to do is enjoy my croissant and have some damn good conversation.
The more I try to delete and rebrand my profile to catch the new wave of trends, the more I realize I’m no good at it. I don't fit the mold that Instagram and TikTok have become.
The subliminal pressure to constantly post where I am, what I’m doing, and who I’m doing it with in real time is exhausting - it sucks me out of the present moment and shoots me right into some dizzy cyber vortex.
Boh.
Maybe this is just me getting older, but I’m starting to get creeped out about people across the globe knowing my current location and happenings.
Substack, on the other hand, feels like home.
Here, I create my own ethos and shape its format to express as I choose:
Thoughts like nostalgia in motion
A voice that echoes like a familiar conversation
Multimedia, no agenda
So, yeah.
Here is my weekly mixtape in rewind - a look-back that reads like a lookbook. Plus a song to serenade you as you scroll ᵕ̈

See you next week!
I was thinking about linking any relevant places or things that I pictured, but realized I’m too lazy and my intention felt false - like a weird brag of sorts. I just wanted you all to think I’m cool beyond belief lol.
However, if you do want to know about my yogurt or tomatoes please comment away and I got you!
